Priority is given to those whose families have demonstrated a committment to public service, meaning students whose parents are or have been employed in education, local, state or federal government, social service, public health (including medical providers), the administration of justice and the fine arts. Student must have a B average and have experience in community service.

The Audre Lorde Scholarship Awards are designed to recognize out* lesbians and gay men of color who are making significant contributions to their communities. ZAMI wants to support and encourage their continuing education by providing scholarships to those women and men enrolled in accredited technical, undergraduate and graduate programs. In 2006, the Fund awarded seventeen $ 1000 scholarships.

The scholarship will award $ 10,000, payable to the college or university the winner will attend, and will be presented at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach black-tie gala. Racing was a dream come true for Jeff, and the organizers and sponsors of the scholarship hope that the money awarded will help the recipient in reaching his or her own dreams. The scholarship will not only help Jeff's legacy live on, but also help in creating a better future for deserving young adults.

Each year more than 820 deserving caddies attend college on tuition and housing grants from the Evans Scholars Foundation. To qualify, caddies must be nominated by their club and meet four requirements:
Strong caddie record:  Candidates must have caddied, successfully and regularly, for a minimum of two years and also expected to caddie and/or work at their sponsoring club during the summer when they apply for the scholarship.
Excellent academics:  Candidates must have completed their junior year of high school with above a B average in college preparatory courses and are required to take the ACT.
Demonstrated financial need:  Candidates must clearly establish their need for financial assistance.
Outstanding character:  Candidates must be outstanding in character, integrity and leadership.
More than 200 new Scholars are chosen annually. The culmination of the selection process is the applicant’s interview with the Scholarship Committee, consisting of WGA Directors and other officials of the program. The decision follows, and the new Evans Scholar is notified within a few days.

The Hacker Foundation College Scholarship was formed to provide student each year with money to help fund their college education.
1. Purpose:
     Purpose: This fund helps support hackers pursuing an undergraduate degree.
 2. Specifics:
     * Cash scholarships of at least $ 313.37 will be awarded, depending available funds and at the discretion of the committee.
     * Books and other non-cash donations will also be awarded as appropriate.
3. Eligibility:
     * Student must be attending or registered to attend a college or university.
     * Student must be a current high school senior, college freshman or college sophomore.
 4. Criteria for Award:
     * Student must submit essay on given topic.
     * Student must provide required applicant information.

As part of Google's ongoing commitment to furthering Anita's vision, we are pleased to announce the 2007 Google Anita Borg Scholarship, through which we hope to encourage women to excel in computing and technology and become active role models and leaders.
Scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of candidates' academic background and demonstrated leadership. A group of female undergraduate and graduate student finalists will be chosen from the applicant pool. The scholarship recipients will each receive a $ 10,000 scholarship for the 2007-2008 academic year. Remaining finalists will receive $ 1,000 each.

The Subway Scholarship Fund was established through the Systems Advisory Council, a cooperative of Subway Franchisee Organizations, Development Agents, and the franchisor of Subway Restaurants to provide scholarships for employees of the corporation.
Applicants must be either high school seniors, or students already attending an accredited, college, university or technical college as full-time undergraduate students.
Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75.
Applicants must be qualified employees of Subway Restaurants.  A qualified employee is defined as an employee scheduled to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, and one who has been employed by Subway for a minimum of six months prior to January 1, 2007.

For the 2007-2008 school year, DigiPen Institute of Technology is offering five, $ 2000.00 scholarships to 5 U.S. citizen or permanent resident female students who obtain all of the following qualifications:
Eligibility Rules:
1.  Must be female.
2.  All applicants must meet the standard admission requirements for the program they are applying for at DigiPen Institute Of Technology.
3. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or greater in your most recent educational history.
4. Must be a student entering any of DigiPen Institute Of Technology’s full time degree programs.
5. Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
6. Must be a new incoming student for the Fall 2007-08 academic year
